Lucy is beautiful, isn’t she? She’s an 85 pound mixed breed girl who is said to be between 11-12 years old. While Lucy hasn’t lived with another dog, we’re told she is fine when meeting other friendly dogs. Currently Lucy spends her day in the company of a cat. She can reportedly go for quite a while without needing a potty break; she’s fine staying alone while her people are away. It’s quite possible (and expected) that she has some arthritis; we’re told she favors her right rear leg. Lucy’s people say she can manage stairs now but as time goes on she may not be able to-one must take that into consideration when adopting a large dog who may not be easily carried up and down stairs. While she may not be able to go as far as she did in her youth, she still enjoys her walks and fetching a tennis ball. She has been good with kids of all ages but since she has some arthritis, a home with older children would probably be best. Lucy favors women but once she meets you and knows you are a friend, she is sweet and will give you a big smile. She is said to be a great companion dog who is an easy going dog.

Lucy is in waiting in Marysville, WA for her new family.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
