Luke

Here’s Luke! A 58 pound slender, agile, lab mixed with shepherd. Luke is what we would consider a young senior at not quite 9 years old. Luke has so much to offer, he’s great with other friendly dogs of all sizes. He loves cats (that like him!) and he adores kids too. Luke will happily curl up with kids and roll over for belly rubs. Ideally he will find a home where he won’t have to wait more than 6 hours for a potty break. He can stay alone while you are away but would perhaps would feel more comfortable with canine or feline company. Luke is described as being very patient and even-tempered.

He is also very in-tune with his people’s emotions. Luke can be a silly guy too, he’ll break out in a run with a big goofy smile on his face. He can do stairs; a daily dose of glucosamine helps him with that. Luke is good on leash and would appreciate a daily walk. He sure sounds like a catch, doesn’t he?
