Marty is a wonderful 17 pound dachshund who is ready to find his forever family. Here is what his foster mom has to say about this lovable guy:

“Marty is the sweetest and most mellow dog ever! He acts quite a bit younger than his estimated 11 years. He loves his food, so if his new home has resident animals, free feeding would not be an option,  he’d eat everyone’s leftovers!! Marty is potty trained and will let you know he’s ready for a walk by that “I’m ready” stare. He’ll also let you know it’s time for dinner by sitting quietly, but deliberately, in the kitchen. Marty loves his naps but also running in the yard. He would do well in a calm and structured environment. Marty is ready for a loving and attentive family.”

Marty is posted for the Everett Animal Shelter located in Everett, WA. He is currently in one of the shelter foster homes.  If you would like to meet him you must submit an adoption application to easseniordog@gmail.com. Applications can be found on the shelter website, www.everettwa.gov/148/Animal-Services

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
