Matt and Gumdrop are a bonded pair of boys who came from a home where there were a lot of dogs, and they never experienced outside time. Gumdrop is 10 years old and weighs 6 pounds. Matt is 8 years old and weighs 5 pounds.

They are tender-hearted boys and they spend a lot of their time observing their foster family members, both human and canine, from the safety of their open-door crate. Matt and Gumdrop have learned what it’s like to be treasured friends and they are enjoying every minute. They have learned to love bath time, grooming and they even tolerate nail trims. They were recently neutered and are working on their potty manners. They will need to wear belly bands and have access to potty pads until they learn the routine of their new home.

Matt and Gumdrop have come such a long way in the time that they have landed in rescue. These gentlemen will do best in a home that is quiet and calm….much like them…and with a family that has the patience and understanding that these boys need as they adapt to a new home and family.

Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children there rescuers are asking for a home without children under 12 years of age. Matt and Gumdrop recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. Matt was neutered and received a dental with a full mouth extraction. Gumdrop received a dental with a full mouth extraction. A soft food diet is recommended for both boys. Matt and Gumdrop are neutered, microchipped and up to date on their vaccines.
