Missie the 11 year old papillion is a tiny little girl at only 5 pounds. She was the runt of the litter when she was born. While she may be small in stature she is big on love! Missie is good with other dogs and she is good with cats too. Where she draws the line is young children, they just don’t appeal to her so she’s hoping to find a home without any. We are told that Missie still looks like a youngster and she has spurts of puppy-like energy as well. She can do stairs, does well on leash and thoroughly enjoys her daily walks.

Missie doesn’t let being a “little” stop her from being protective-not in a bad way though. She is a graduate of advanced obedience training. Missie will stay home with her furry companions while you are out doing your daily duties. Reportedly she can “hold it” for quite awhile while her person is away. During the day she spends her time on the back of the couch, looking out the window. At bedtime she will help keep you warm in your bed and because of her size, she doesn’t take up much room!

This darling girl is waiting for an adopter in Spanaway, WA.

ODH has not met this dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
