Mokie

Is this a dog or a teddy bear? She is a dog, an adorable toy poodle whose name is Mokie. Mokie is 13 years old and weighs about 6 pounds. Up until recently Mokie was a beloved companion to an elderly couple. Sadly, they can no longer care for her and she has gone to live with extended family. The belief is that Mokie would be happier in a home where people are home more often. Mokie deserves a home with someone who can care for her and hopefully outlive her so that she doesn’t have to endure more loss and change. Currently Mokie does fine when left alone for a work day. She needs a potty break every 6-8 hours but she’s pee-pad trained so that’s helpful! Mokie has never been around children or cats and, because of her size and age, more than likely a home with kids 10 and over would be best. She spends her day with another dog and interacts well with her.

Mokie loves her daily walks and does great on a leash. She is most content keeping a lap warm and or being held; she’s a fantastic cuddler! And who wouldn’t want to cuddle up with her?

Mokie is in Silverdale, WA, ready to find her new person to devote herself to.
