Nina

Sweet Nina strayed into a shelter with a very bad heart condition; ODH was asked to take her immediately so she could get veterinary care. She began heart meds the next day and went to a short-term foster home where she saw a cardiologist and settled in as a quiet, gentle girl who got along with all and found it very difficult to move. After moving to a permanent Final Refuge home she still struggled with mobility for unknown reasons, and all too soon her heart function worsened and she became too weak to enjoy her life. All those who met her on this journey are saddened but so glad they knew this pretty, gentle girl who asked so little.
