ODH Home Needed for Bex – Yorkie Boy
Very sweet and ready to leave the shelter!
PERMANENT ODH FOSTER HOME NEEDED: Yorkie or yorkie mix, male, 9#, will be neutered on 10/30. This little guy found himself in a shelter with a terrible mouth that really needs a skilled dental. He has very few teeth left but several oronasal fistulas which ideally would be repaired (not an easy thing in a dog this size). He has a cough likely due to tracheal collapse issues and luxating patellas which make him weak in the back end at times. However, bloodwork shows his organs working well – just lots of stress and dental infection. In his shelter foster home, he’s just fine with the other dogd, very attached to the humans and wants to share their bed, housebroken EXCEPT for marking which should subside in 2+ weeks after the neuter. He’s been very sweet there and at the shelter. We really want to get him into an ODH home where we can get help for his mouth. Please let us know right away if you might be interested.
