Sweet boy needs out of the shelter
PERMANENT ODH FOSTER HOME NEEDED: Neutered male chihuahua, 7#, very old. This little fellow “strayed” into a shelter with bad skin which has improved in a couple of weeks of care, bad teeth of course, and cloudy eyes – the right seems to have corneal edema so he could really use seeing an ophthalmologist to get the right treatment for that. His hind end stance is stiff, hunched and wide; shelter vets guess either disc problems in his back or arthritis in his back or his knees. In the shelter, he is shy and nervous of course! but very tolerant of handling, baths and vet care. We don’t know if he’s lived with other dogs before or how old he might be. He badly needs a real home –
assisted living! – for the rest of his life with good vet care, patience and love.
