Sweet boy needs out of the shelter
Found – ODH HOSPICE HOME: Neutered male chihuahua, 7#, very old. This little fellow “strayed” into a shelter with bad skin which has improved in a couple of weeks of care, and (in shelter foster care) seems to be a very old man. He’s said to be super sweet, LOVES walking around the yard, cuddling up, and mealtime! They say he doesn’t really see or hear much so startles sometimes, is unsteady on his feet and needs help with a step (shelter vets suspect back or knee issues). He’s done very well with active dogs and the kittens (one likes to sleep with him). He coughs when picked up and isn’t really able to bark now. It would be good to get him to an eye specialist and then serious vet care, but he seems to be nearing the end of his comfortable life. We would LOVE for him to have a caring capable home for the time left – if you’re able, please let us know.
