URGENT NEED – ODH PERMANENT FOSTER HOME FOR:   Brother/sister pair, chihuahua/terrier??   each about 12#.    Genetics surely came through to both:   each has a very large heart murmur (will need to see a cardiologist and no doubt go on meds) and each has a luxating patella only  on the left side!  Labwork on both was quite good, so their other organs are working well at this point. They came into the shelter together after owner passed and are of course terrified there, huddling together.   Relatives said they are defensive around NEW people coming into the home, but fine once they know you at all.     The shelter is trying to find a temporary foster for both to see if they are more confident outside the kennels, but it would be way better if we could send them directly into an ODH home.   If you have room and patience for two little ones that need a place to feel safe and loved and wanted – please let us know immediately.
