Adorable Oliver or Ollie as he is sometimes called is looking for a new home. Adopted 5 years ago from a shelter, he is now presumed to be about 12 years old. Oliver weighs 23 pounds and appears to be a Bichon Frise mix. He’s not super confident (initially frightened) when meeting new dogs but he has reportedly lived with other dogs. Ollie has lived with cats and he’s fine with them-he’s also said to be good with chickens! He’d be happiest in a home with older kids if any.

Oliver is great on leash and enjoys the 2 walks he gets a day. He can still manage stairs but he is blind in one eye and has poor vision in the other so one must keep that in mind for his safety. Oliver takes Apoquel for a skin condition. While he can manage quite a while without needing a potty break, Ollie would do best in a home where he is not left alone for long hours at a time as he does become anxious. His favorite place in the world to be is right next to his person. Whomever gives Oliver his forever home will have to be patient and understanding with him, he’ll need time to adapt to his new surroundings because of his lack of vision and sensitive spirit. We imagine that Oliver will make it worth your while! He sounds like a very loving, loyal dog who is ready for his forever companion.

Oliver is in Mount Vernon, WA.
