Oscar
Loving, sensitive boy
Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!
Oscar joined his Old Dog Haven home in March 2025 at around 12 years old. He came in with bad teeth, a bit underweight, with early heart disease. He is possibly a Doxie-Minpin mix but regardless he is a delightful fellow.
In spite of the many transitions he went through before finding ODH, he chooses to trust humans quickly and is a loving, sensitive guy. Oscar loves warmth: his heated bed, cozying up under a pile of blankets on the sofa, laying in the sun. He is definitely a lap dog and will often land the front half of his long self on his humans’ legs. Oscar is curious, spunky, and a loved member of his household.
He is thankful for ODH for already giving him excellent vet care and a chance at safety and comfort.
