Peppy is a 20 pound, 11 year old Terrier Mix who is ready to find her forever home.

Here is what her shelter foster family has to say about her:

“Peppy is gentle and a sweetheart. She does well with other dogs and cats. She loves being outside, likes to go on walks and play chase with you. She also loves a good couch, blanket, and snuggle. Peppy would make a great movie buddy. Her back legs work about a gear or two below her front legs, so she can’t go down stairs safely, and is a little prone to tipping over when not landing jumps.

“She is very food motivated, and will leap around excitedly if you’re in the kitchen and thinks she might get something out of it. She has good leash manners and is an all around good girl. Peppy will need a patient home that is willing to continue working with her on good potty habits.

“Peppy is the quietest dog we have ever met and has only ever barked in her sleep. We adore her and are so excited for her to find her new family!”

**Peppy recently received a dental at the shelter and is presently on a prescription diet to promote kidney health. It is recommended that Peppy has a health exam with bloodwork in 6 months to monitor her kidney function.

Peppy is posted for the Everett Animal Shelter. She is in a shelter foster home. If you would like to meet her please submit an adoption application to easseniordog@gmail.com. You can find an application on the shelter’s website, www.everettwa.gov

This is not an Old Dog Haven dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
