Poodle Baby
Happy and content
Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!
From her foster: Poodle Baby was found as a stray and ended up at the shelter. No one came for her. She was terrified at the shelter and was so very scared on her way to her Old Dog Haven permanent home. She calmed down pretty quickly and fit in with the other dogs at my house right away. I got her to the vet for her intake. It was determined that she had dry eyes, ear infections, cataract in one eye, a heart murmur, and not surprisingly, bad teeth. At her echocardiogram, it was also discovered that she has severe Pulmonary Hypertension.
After a week in our home, she had her first seizure. She is now on medication for seizures and they have been pretty much stopped now. Poodle Baby is such a joy to both me and my husband. She is very smart and has us wrapped around her little finger (paw).
