Happy and loving retirement

Jack is a 14 year old Chiweenie. He was an owner surrender from an elderly owner who had serious health issues and was no longer able to care for him.
Jack had lost his eye when he was one year old and adopted from the shelter, no one knows what had happened. When he entered ODH care, he was throughly vetted and put on heart medications to slow his heart disease. The medications are keeping him comfortable. He has slowed down due to arthritis but still loves to sniff all around the backyard.
Jack loves sleeping on his heated pad and hanging out with his dog buddies. He has recently been diagnosed with a liver mass, which is likely cancer, but he doesn’t know that and he’s a happy boy. We hope we have lots more time with him.
