Rico

Rico is 8 years old, a lovely chihuahua who came to the shelter loaded with fleas and thus his coat looked pretty bad. He is flea-free now and his coat should improve quickly. He is dog-social and likes the company of others; he’s learning how to walk on a leash. Initially shy on intake to the shelter, he has blossomed at the quieter offsite location and is now a social butterfly. He is 12 pounds but could probably stand to lose a little weight.
