River

Meet River! This 8 year old sweetheart is such a happy little girl and she is ready to find her forever family. She weighs 25 pounds. River loves to play fetch with her ball and she loves her toys. She is always ready for the next adventure and is ready to go when you are. River would enjoy an active family that will include her in their hiking, running or walking plans. This girl is a gem! River is a gentle girl and will thrive in a home that is calm and certain.

She loves people and is longing for a family of her own. Young children can be quick and unpredictable with their behavior, therefore, her rescuers are asking for a home without children under 12 years of age. River has met many dogs along the way and she enjoys their company. She would welcome another dog with the same gentle, respectful demeanor that she possesses. It is unknown if River has had any experience with felines.
