Roxie is a big, sweet lab mix girl who is guessed to be between 10 – 12 years old. Her exact weight is unknown but the rescuer we have her posted for states she weighs about 100 pounds.

Roxie loves people, other dogs and cats too. We’re told she’s been good around kids who have come to visit. Because she is a senior girl with arthritis, Roxie needs a home where children are gentle. Roxie came to the rescue she is at with a “bad leg or hip”. Stairs and getting in and out of a car are going to be difficult for her. Not long ago Roxie had a tumor removed from her ear. Aside from that, not much vetting has been done for Roxie. She really needs a home with someone who can afford to get her thoroughly vetted to help her become her best, most healthy, self.

To us, Roxie sounds like your typical aging lab mix who is very appealing. She’s happy, friendly, enjoys a good swim and still tries to play but she’s slowing down. Roxie loves keeping her people company but can stay alone and manage awhile without needing a potty break.

Roxie needs her true forever home now with someone who will appreciate all of the love and loyalty she has to offer. She is posted for Gentle Paws Sanctuary and Hospice in Chehalis, WA. For contact information please email Alice at: afenske24@hotmail.com

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
