Roxie

Lovely Roxie is an Australian Shepherd who weighs about 45 pounds. Roxie is twelve and a half years old. She has lived with other dogs of all sizes and does well with everyone.  Roxie enjoys playing with other nice dogs. She is not good with cats. Roxie prefers kids age 7 and up.

Roxie has not been to a vet in years. She needs an adoptive home with someone who will get her vetted and commit to her vet care for the rest of her life. Her hearing isn’t quite as sharp as it used to be but that’s to be expected as a dog ages. We are told she can manage some stairs now but too many on a regular basis could be hard on her. Roxie enjoys walks and sniffing around in the yard. We are told that Roxie walks on leash “beautifully”.

Roxie can manage quite a bit before needing a potty break. She is used to going in and out of her home as she pleases. Roxie is accustomed to having the company of other dogs while her people are away. The hope is she can find a home with at least one other friendly dog. Roxie will bark to let you know when visitors arrive.
