8 year old Zelda is an amazing dog who is dreaming of being a cherished family member. She faces every day with a wag in her tail and a smile on her face….and that smile is amazing! She loves being with her people, relaxing on the couch and she loves her ball. She is patient and kind and is always ready for anything that comes her way.

Zelda is ready for a predictable home with calm energy. Zelda is picky about her doggie friends but does seem to be fine with mellow males that are her size or larger. She will need a home without cats.

Zelda was born without an ear canal in her left ear and her right ear canal is shaped abnormally. Zelda will need a family committed to regular veterinary visits to maintain the health of her ears.

Zelda weighs 71 pounds. Zelda has torn cruciate ligaments in both rear legs. Her ligaments have stabilized with scar tissue and she is being successfully treated with anti-inflammatories. Her mobility is good and she is an active girl. Zelda loves going for her daily walks and especially loves to stop by and say hello to her neighbors. This beautiful soul is at her very best every day and she teaches us to live in the moment.

Zelda is ready for a predictable home with calm energy. She does not care for the company of other dogs and she will need a home without cats. Zelda is happiest being someone’s one and only.

Zelda is posted for Save-A-Mutt Rescue and she is being fostered in one of their foster homes in Everett, WA. If you are interested in meeting Zelda, please submit a Save-A-Mutt adoption application. Adoption applications can be found at www.save-a-mutt.org.
