Zelda is an amazing dog who is dreaming of being a cherished family member.  She faces every day with a wag in her tail and a smile on her face….and that smile is amazing! She loves being with her people, relaxing on the couch and she loves her ball. She is patient and kind and is always ready for anything that comes her way.

Zelda has had a lot of uncertainty in her life and she is ready for a predictable home with calm energy. She has had lifelong struggles with ear infections that were left untreated, as well as, torn cruciate ligaments. She learned how to push through and be her very best despite her health challenges. Save-A-Mutt searched for answers and discovered that, with the help of a veterinary dermatologist, Zelda’s ear condition is manageable and treatable. Her ligaments have stabilized with scar tissue and she is being successfully treated with anti-inflammatories and pain medication.

Zelda is respectful to other dogs and she would enjoy a home with another male dog with the same mellow personality.  A meet and greet will be required with any resident males of potential adopters. There is no knowledge of Zelda with cats. Zelda weighs 71 pounds and is 8 years old.

Zelda is posted for Save-A-Mutt Rescue and she is being fostered in one of their foster homesin Everett, WA. If you are interested in meeting Zelda, please submit a Save-A-Mutt adoption application.  Adoption applications can be found at www.save-amutt.org.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters do to their own evaluation.
