Sadie Sunshine is a 12 year old girl who is estimated to weigh about 70 pounds. We are told she has ears that express her emotions. Her breed mix is part Weimaraner and part German Short-Haired Pointer. Here are 2 photos of her to give an idea of what she looks like. Long, lean and lovely!

Sadie lived with another dog for many years. We are told she does very good with new dog she meets. She currently shares her home with a cat and they are on good terms. Sadie has never been observed around kids but the belief is she’d do fine with gentle kids not small enough for her to accidentally knock over.

Sadie is not keen about staying home alone for the long hours she has to now. She’s been known to get into things she shouldn’t when she’s left alone, a common behavior when a dog is bored and lonely! While she can manage quite a few hours without needing a potty break, she would prefer not to.

Sadie is a big strong girl who needs a harness when walked. She loves to run and play. Sadie would love a home with a large fenced yard. We are told Sadie can do stairs. She’s a great one to take for car rides but she also loves to cuddle up with her person.

Sadie has not had a lot of veterinary care. She needs an adopter who can afford getting her into the vet for a full exam and keep up on her care to help keep her as healthy as she seems to be. She is a fun sweetheart who will be a devoted friend. Sadie is located in Tacoma, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
