Scooter

“Hello, my name is Scooter. I am 8 years old but you wouldn’t even know I’m a senior enjoying my golden years. I like to play with other dogs and all people, big and small. Kids are my favorite though! I will follow you around until you sit down, then jump up on your lap. I only weigh 18 pounds, so be prepared to snuggle up. I enjoy car rides, walks, and sunbathing outside, but please make sure I have a fenced yard. I am sneaky and try to get out the door when someone comes in; I’m not fast at my age, so as long as you’re paying attention you will catch me. Also, I am not food aggressive but can be protective of my favorite bone when my fur siblings try to take it.

“I am potty trained and crate trained. In fact, I don’t make a peep at night and wait patiently to go out the next morning. I do need regular grooming and weekly medicated baths until my hair and skin get healthy again.

“Please consider taking me home with you and making me your furever best friend. I am an “easy go lucky” type of boy and will bring you loads of joy and companionship.”

Scooter will need a financially secure family as he will need ongoing medical care for his skin issues. He is improving but still has a long way to go! Scooter is posted for the Everett Animal Shelter located at 333 Smith Island Rd, Everett WA, 425-257-6000.
