Silas

Silas is a happy boy who loves everyone he meets. He is an 11 year old, 57 pound Border Collie mx. Silas would love a family that will include him in their adventures. Whether it’s doing something outdoors or lounging around the house, this boy is happy as long as he is with his people. The highlight of Silas’s day is going for a walk. He is a good boy on the leash but would benefit from some leash manners because he gets excited when he sees other dogs.

Silas has lived with multiple cats and would be fine in a home with dog-savvy cats. He has been fine with the dogs he has met along the way, but it is unknown if he has ever lived with other dogs. He should do well with a calm, submissive canine that will accept Silas’s energetic personality. Silas will bark for a little while when left home alone, which makes him incompatible with apartment life. He is housebroken and is a gentleman in the house.
