Sophie and Seymour have been together for a long time and are the very best of friends. Both are sweet and so quiet. Their foster family keeps wondering what’s up with that? A cairn terrier and a doxie not barking?

Sophie, a dachshund, weighs 18 pounds. Seymour, a cairn terrier/dachshund, weighs 28 pounds; they are both 10 years old. They are dear, gentle, love toys, walks, cuddling and really enjoy being with human friends. Sophie and Seymour like other dogs, all people, and are not picky eaters. They are not too sure about how they feel about cats though.

They are both in great health and have the medical records to back that up. They both have had dentals and are ready to find a new home. They miss their mom, of course, but she has dementia and has moved into a facility where dogs are unwelcome. They are making the best of things partly because they have one another but mostly because they are just brave little dogs.

Watching them toddling about wagging their tails brings everyone to giggles. Sophie and Seymour are in Kirkland WA for the holidays and would love company!

They are posted for Furbaby Rescue, contact elleny@comcast.net for information and an application.

THESE ARE NOT ODH DOGS; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
