Stryker is an 11 year old neutered male Dutch sheepdog who weighs 55 pounds. Stryker came to the shelter as a stray last year and then was eventually surrendered by the microchipped owner.

Stryker does not do well with small animals but has done very well with other dogs his size. Stryker would do best in a home with older kids, aged 12 and over.

This gorgeous boy is a very sweet dog and when meeting anyone new he goes right up to them to lean in for attention. He has a habit of chasing his tail and has nibbled on his tail since the shelter is a bit stressful for him. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to help Stryker find a forever home?

Stryker walks nicely on leash and is doing very well with staff and volunteers. He enjoys going on  walks with people to get little breaks from the shelter. Styker thoroughly enjoys this time away as he loves to go on adventures!

Stryker is a staff and volunteer favorite. He is going to make someone a truly amazing companion!

Stryker is posted for Regional Animal Services of King County located in Kent, WA. For more information about Stryker, please email: AdoptAPet@kingcounty.gov You can read the shelter adoption process here: Adoption processes – King County

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
