Summit has a typical malamute personality: Independent, smart, playful, and affectionate, but only when he wants to be. He is crate trained, however, if he’s left in the crate, for what he considers is too long, he will find a way out. This gorgeous boy is about 8 years old, he weighs 75 pounds.

A large fenced yard for him to run zoomies and burn energy would be ideal for Summit.  He enjoys long daily walks where he can explore, but could use some practice on his leash training commands.  After the walk, he loves to cuddle and relax with his humans.

Summit gets very excited at seeing other dogs as he wants to play, but not all dogs appreciate his enthusiasm.  It may be best that he is in an only dog family.  Summit’s furever family should have the time to spend with him and take him on many adventures.

Summit is posted for the Washington Alaskan Malamute League located in Puyallup, WA. For more information about Summit and adopting him, please email: wamal@wamal.com

This is not an Old Dog Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
