Tee
LOVES people and being active
Tee is a 9 year old girl looking for a new home. She is a 50 pound, chocolate brown and white pitbull. Tee LOVES people and is said to be “the perfect dog for someone without other pets or children”.
Tee would love a home with someone who works from home or is an early retiree. Her family does not leave her alone for more than 4 hours at a time. Tee has been OK to manage longer without a potty break during the day though she’d probably rather not have to do so. She can get bored and chew on items if left alone too long. At night, Tee will sleep in her bed or her kennel.
This young senior enjoys as much exercise as you can give her. Tee has good leash manners but one should be able to manage her size and strength when out and about on leash. She can manage stairs at this time. We are told that Tee was hit by a car at age 6 months and her femoral head was surgically removed. This old injury does not impair her mobility. As always, we remind everyone that a commitment to lifelong veterinary care and good quality is important with every adoption.
Tee is not tolerating the other dog in her home nor does she appreciate the children. For this reason, she is being rehomed and it is important to respect her needs to be an only animal in the home without kids (even as visitors). Tee has not been observed around cats.
If you are looking for a loving, devoted friend who will bark to protect her home, Tee is your girl. She is a lovebug and will seek you out as a pillow when it’s time to chill out on the couch. Tee is described as being “unbelievably sweet”. Surely there is someone out there looking for a new best friend. Tee is ready to meet you!
Tee is located in Poulsbo, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org
