Meet Zeus, a 66 pound, 10 year-old, GORGEOUS Pitbull. Zeus is a total sweetheart senior dog looking for a calm and mellow family.

Zeus is a gentle guy who likes going for leisurely strolls. Zeus is primarily blind and is quickly picking up voice commands on his walks. He has a beautiful brindle coat and will make a great companion. Zeus enjoys car rides and loves his treats! He has lived successfully with dogs and cats in the past. Proper dog introduction is required due to Zeus’s sight condition. He loves kids of all ages as well.

Zeus needs an adoptive home with someone who can and will afford taking care of him. At this time he needs daily ointment for dry eye. It’d be very helpful if Zeus’ adopter could take him to an animal eye specialist to check him over well and determine what he needs to help keep him comfortable. Zeus’ skin needs special care. At the shelter he is receiving prescription food that helps with his skin. Zeus also takes a medication called Apoquel and fish oil.  Additionally he takes a daily joint supplement. While this may all sound like “A LOT”, this sweet boy is certainly worthy of all this special care!

Zeus says, “Hello there, do you enjoy cuddling and going for calm walks? I’d love to meet you and be your best friend!”
