Peanut
Feeling better and ready for a home
“Hi everyone my name is Peanut and I am 10 years old- My foster momma says that name suits me cause I am a girl who can be a little nutty.
“When I came to rescue I was so skinny and sad. These past 3 months I have been working on gaining weight, I got a nice dental procedure done and then spayed. I am feeling so much better now! I am loving playing with toys again and it feels good to have my strength back! My back legs are still weak, but I get around pretty good. Because of my weak legs I am prone to urinary track infections. I need a home that keeps up on my urinary health.
“I get really emotional over some silly things. Car rides, new dog friends coming over, dogs on TV, some people BUT the good news is I have settled down over the past month. I started playing with squeaky toys, I also snuggle with my foster brother more. It’s a whole new world for me ,everyone that meets me gets a kick out of me…I am told I am a real character…I think that is a good thing!
“I love going for walks and I love a nice yard so I can roam around at my own pace. I love being with my person. I just want my future family to know it might take me awhile to adjust – once I do watch out! I will give so many kisses, snuggles and provide endless amount of entertainment.
“I can’t wait to meet my fur-ever home!
“XOXO, Peanut”
