10 year old Angel is a 24 pound King Charles Cavalier Spaniel in need of an adoptive home. One of her lifelong owners passed away, the other now has dementia. Extended family would like to find a home for Angel where she will receive the care she needs for her eyes and ears (common issues with this breed). Angel needs a home where she will never need to be re-homed again.

While Angel has never lived with other dogs, we are told she is appropriately social when meeting new dogs. She lives peacefully with a cat and has done well around children 5 and older who have been kind to her. Angel is said to be a “loving, sweet and easy going girl”; she deserves a home where she will be appreciated and well cared for. She needs daily drops for dry eye and ideally her adopter will get her into an animal ophthalmologist to be sure all is done to keep her eyes healthy and comfortable.

We are told it is unknown if Angel can do stairs. She has been known to manage quite a while without needing a potty break. Angel is good on leash and enjoys a walk around the block every day. She is said to not be much of a barker and we’re told she is OK to stay alone when necessary.

This lovely girl is going to flourish in a home with care and love. Angel is posted for her caregivers in Puyallup, WA.  For more information please email referrals@olddoghaven.org.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
