16 year old Roxy is a Wire Fox Terrier who weighs about 16 pounds. We are told that Roxy has lived with other dogs in the past and that she’s fine around new dogs. Given her age, we will assume it would be best for Roxy to live with mature dogs like herself. Roxy is good with cats and older, gentle children.

Roxy needs an adopter who can afford her vet care and be willing to get her in for a check up. As one would imagine, she has “a bit of” arthritis but she is currently not receiving anything to relieve her discomfort from that. Roxy’s human says that her eyesight is excellent but her hearing is diminishing.

Roxy is said to be OK being left alone, she needs a potty break every 4-6 hours. She is excellent on leash and appreciates a daily walk or even better, 2 walks a day. Please remember that a dog her age will need time and understanding with her move. She has had the same owner since puppyhood so she needs a compassionate adopter. Roxy is described as being “a very polite, quiet, loyal dog. A lovely little lady”.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
