Bailey is a happy, friendly little dog who might be 11 years old but she plays like a puppy. She likes other dogs, but when it comes to cats she likes to bark and chase so we’re going to say her new home should be cat-free. Bailey is crated at night and does fine. She does need to go outside for potty breaks several times a day and would love a doggie door as long as it leads to a fenced yard. Bailey has a heart murmur and skin allergies and they are controlled by medication and frequent bathing.

Because she is a senior, her new family will want to get her established with their veterinarian and be sure she is seen regularly. That may seem like a lot, but this sweetie is worth it. Bailey is just a nice nice dog (yep, we meant to say that twice).

The perfect home for Bailey will be with humans that will give her a lot of attention, lots of love and be willing to give her a committed forever home. It’s been a long path to get Bailey where she is today, she deserves a new family that will make a lifelong commitment to her.

Bailey is posted for the Everett Animal Shelter in Everett, WA.

If you’re interested in Bailey please submit an adoption application to eas@everettwa.gov, or come into the shelter to complete an application. Bailey is currently in foster care. If you meet all of Bailey’s requirements we’ll contact you and set up a time for you to meet Bailey. Be prepared to fall in love.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
