Batman
Playful and ready for his new home
If you’re looking for a sweet older gentleman to join your home, Batman is ready to steal your heart. He is a wonderful lab looking for a family to love him. At 9 years old, Batman has the exuberance of a much younger dog and is always ready to head outside to hang out in the sun or to play with other dogs. Batman would more than likely do fine in a home with gentle, respectful children.
He enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well in a home with or without a dog companion. Batman would love someone who is home a lot of the day to spend time with him. He loves to go for walks or out to a fenced area to run and play. He also loves car rides, and gets so excited when he thinks it’s time to go on a car ride adventure!
He was recently diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease which means he needs to remain on a special diet to keep him healthy for as long as possible. He’s not a picky eater and is happy to eat his special food without any problems. Batman has been working with a holistic vet and is doing acupuncture, chiropractic, and herbs. The rescue will be glad to share his medical information with potential adopters.
Take a chance on Mr. Batman and you won’t regret it. He’s a real charmer and is so ready to give plenty of love to anyone willing to give him ear scratches and cuddles.
Batman is posted for Useless Bay Sanctuary. He is being fostered in Woodinville, WA.
