Introducing MASON a handsome senior who is about 8 year old.

Dog for adoption – Mason, a German Shepherd Dog in Bothell, WA | Petfinder

Sweet, sweet Mason lived his life on a chain and when his owners moved, they left him behind. His only friend, a kind neighbor, brought him to the shelter. The shelter reached out to us to help, and the rescue just couldn’t NOT help Mason.

What kind of personality does Mason have?
Gentle soul• affectionate •likes to be close but not underfoot •will lay at your feet if invited •playful •has big bear feet and a kind heart • has a very expressive face and pretty prancing gait.

Does Mason have any health issues?
Mason had a senior wellness exam including bloodwork done at the shelter. All results were within normal limits. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He weighs approx 82 pounds and eats well, no known allergies. The tips of Mason’s ears are missing, this is more than likely a result of being outside and neglected for years.

What kind of home environment will Mason be most successful in?
Mason has been around medium and large dogs and has gotten along with them wonderfully. He is currently in a foster home with two resident GSD’s. It is suspected that he would do well with small dogs as well. He has not been exposed to cats. Mason is a cool kind of guy, not much if anything, seems to bother him. A fully fenced and enclosed yard is a must as Mason likes to make a beeline to the gate when he is let outside. Mason is crate trained and is comfortable both in and out of the crate. He deserves a warm home with people he can love on and be loved by for the rest of his years.

Mason is posted for Northwest German Shepherd Rescue based in Bothell, WA. To apply to adopt Mason, go to their website and complete an application: www.northwestgermanshepherd.org/
