Bella
Tons of personality in a very tiny package
Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!
Bella is a tiny chihuahua between 16-17 years old. She is a precious senior whose forever fosters tell us she is “SUCH a little character who makes them laugh constantly”.
Thanks to donations to Old Dog Haven, Bella underwent a badly needed dental for her dental disease. She has also received allergy shots for her skin. At her advanced age, Bella absolutely needed help to ease the pain in her creaky joints. This care has helped bring comfort to Bella.
Not much is known about the life Bella had before she joined her Old Dog Haven home. It took time and patience for Bella to learn to trust her fosters. Because of her behavior, the belief was that life (and humans) had been unkind to her. The compassion her forever fosters have shown her have enabled Bella to experience joy.
Our goal is to rescue seniors who need homes they will never lose. Our loving fosters provide those, opening their enormous hearts to the old dogs who need them so much. Without the generosity of donations, we would not be able to provide the lifelong veterinary care we commit to giving each and every single senior dog we bring into our care.
