Here’s Boston! You do not need to be an avid baseball fan to be considered as the ideal home for Boston and if you haven’t guessed “Red Sox” is part of why his name is Boston.

Please don’t shake your head and think that Boston being 13 years old is like the umpire calling “Out” at first base. There’s definitely more bases to be reached by this devoted dog. The great small breed of Shih Tzu can live for many more years especially in a loving and caring home.

Boston is house broken and has certain commands in place for such. He will go to his crate on command and loves his special toys, treats and walks.  Boston has grown to have subdued playful ways showing tender motion with enthusiasm. Walks are enjoyed and it’s definitely not necessary to play baseball in your back yard with Boston. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for Boston.

This is a dog where you may have a choice of him sleeping in his own bed on the floor, in his crate, or for the first time ever you could try an invitation for him to share your bed.  Boston needs a home without young children.

If you are inclined to consider two dogs, Boston has a much younger Shih Tzu friend who came into rescue with him. This dog is not a senior dog, so he’s not eligible for cross posting through Old Dog Haven. Furbaby Rescue can provide information about him if you are interested.

Boston is posted for Furbaby Rescue. He is being fostered in Blaine, WA. Please email Furbaby Rescue for an adoption application at: elleny@comcast.net

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
