10 year old Buster Brown is a sensitive fella who will melt your heart with just one look. He is 12 pound chihuahua mix.   Here is what his foster family has to say about him:

Buster is well-mannered, chill, patient, gentle and timid/shy, submissive, affection seeking but also independent, and loyal. He sleeps through the night and during the day is peaceful taking in his surroundings. Buster is polite on leash and gentle/submissive with all the dogs and people he’s met along the way. We think he is an ideal easy to care for little companion.

Buster is treat motivated, which helps with building trust and psychological safety. His crates are his safe space (we call them “the office”). Buster is a happy boy who bombs up and down the stairs and is flirty when it comes to play time and leans into a whole body pet/massage.
The ideal day: Gentle pets/belly rubs, hang out time taking in the sights on a comfy couch/lap/doggy bed.  Buster also enjoys casual walks, play time and the opportunity to relax in his crate.  This boy would love a securely fenced yard where he can enjoy sunbathing while his people are outside with him.

Buster will shine in a cozy quiet/calm adult home.  He has impeccable house manners and will benefit from a forever person who is gentle, patient and willing to give this amazing gentleman the time he needs to be the best little friend that he can be.   Due to the quick and unpredictable nature of young children, his rescuers are asking for a home without children under 12 years of age.

Buster is posted for Save-A-Mutt. He is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA. If you’d like to learn more about Buster, please email: elizabeth@save-a-mutt.org or check out their Petfinder link: www.petfinder.com/dog/buster-brown-75125935/wa/silvana/save-a-mutt-wa630/
