Chica

Here’s Chica! This super sweet, young senior is about as perfect as they come. She returned to rescue after her person of over 9 years passed away. She is friendly, good on leash, crate and house-trained. She gets along with several dogs in her foster home but wouldn’t mind being your one and only. It is unknown how Chica react to cats.

Chica turned 10 years old on 1/24/24 but you’d never know it!  She definitely has some cattle dog genes! She did not do well in a home with relatives’ children so her rescuers are seeking an adult (where possibly older kids may be ok) home. Chica is perfectly sized at 35 pounds. She can do stairs, jump in cars and even into your arms!

Chica is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped. She has current bloodwork done and is heartworm negative.  Chica does have a heart murmur but at this point just monitoring is recommended. She is scheduled for a dental which will be covered by the rescue.
