Beautiful Ciaro came into a shelter at age 15 – probably a spaniel mix, she quickly fit into her Final Refuge home and loved her doggie “sibling”, going to the beach and on adventures. As common with old dogs, she had some spinal degeneration that caused some problems in her back end and a significant heart murmur but overall was a healthy girl. She struggled for most of the two years with nighttime anxiety; the neurologist prescribed medications that helped ease that for quite a while but eventually the anxiety overtook her. She was a very old lady who was well loved and will be missed.
