“Hi! My name is Daisy and I need a new home. Care to guess what breed or mix of dog I am? With my longer hair, I look very terrier. With a shave, I look like a chihuahua. I am a very unique and interesting-looking girl! I weigh 8 pounds and I am 10 years old.

“My lifelong person is looking for a wonderful home with someone who will love me as much as she has, as soon as possible.. Maybe you are looking for a forever friend or you know someone who is? I have so much to offer! I am a cuddly girl who has so much love to offer. I can be both cuddly and playful. My person describes me as “a dainty little dog who loves people”.

“I have always lived with other dogs and do fine with them unless they are large, aggressive dogs. Never in my life have I seen a cat so if you have one, I can’t tell you how I’d react! If you have kids around, I can do well with them. However, I do appreciate the kiddos who are gentle and respectful. No dog wants to be treated roughly!

“When I move I hope my new people will understand I need time to learn my new routine and give me time to adapt. I have been fine to stay home when my human leaves but I have had other dogs for company. I need to learn that you are coming back and everything will be OK! If you allow me to join you in your bed, I will love that.

“I am a good girl who will potty outside when I need to, holding my potty a few hours between breaks. When you let me outside I’ll run around in the yard happily. I am used to having a fenced yard. I have not been leash walking much so if you put me on leash I will pull out of excitement. My person says I’m a “circus dog” because I run around and hop over things. It makes her laugh!

“I spend most of my time inside though I love to bathe in a spot of sun anywhere! I have good recall which means, I will come when you call my name. I will bark at all of the expected times: when someone comes to the door, when other dogs barks, when I am surprised and if you leave me alone in the car (not my favorite!).

“I’m a young senior who can still manage stairs. It’s been 3 years since I last saw a vet. I am not up to date on my vaccines so I do need to see a vet to have those done. If you can do this for me and afford regular vet care and good dog food, I could possibly be around for a long time to come! Adopting me could be the start of a beautiful love story! I am hoping to find my happily ever after and soon.”
