A resilient soul ready for her happiest chapter, Daphny is patiently waiting for her loving person.

After a string of bad luck, 10-year-old Daphny is ready for the “good life.” This 90 pound Doberman beauty was found as a stray in rough shape, but she has proven to be a true survivor. After a brief hospital stay for pancreatitis, she has bounced back fantastically and is nearly 100% recovered!

Daphny is the definition of a “velcro dog.” She adores her people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. For a senior girl, she has surprising energy and a zest for life that will keep you smiling.

She loves people and gets along well with other friendly dogs. Daphny even ignores neighborhood cats and remains perfectly calm/non-reactive when seeing other dogs on her walks.

She is a dream on a leash! No pulling here—Daphny walks politely right next to her human.

Health Note: Daphny is currently on the mend from a metabolic flare-up (likely from eating something toxic while lost). While she’s doing great, she’ll need a follow-up vet visit to monitor her liver enzymes, which may have been elevated due to her recent illness.

Daphny is a “lively cuddle bug” who deserves a family to spoil her after all she’s been through. Could that be you?

Daphny is posted for Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue (Dobermans). She is being fostered in Tacoma, WA. If you are interested in adopting Daphny, please complete an adoption application here: https://forms.spdrdogs.org/Adoption/
