If you’ve ever wanted your own fan club, Dixie is ready to report for duty!

Dixie is a spirited 8-year-old, 16 pound pug, and she’s looking for an ESH (emotional support human). She can be a bit shy when first meeting, but she lives for her person and she attaches to them quickly so you’ll never be in doubt about where you stand with her.  Dixie is perfectly potty-trained, likes to play with toys, and insists on long cuddle sessions. It is a must.

Dixie came into the rescue with another dog, but it was quickly discovered that she doesn’t particularly care to interact with dogs or share her people, her food, or her toys with other dogs, so a home with no dogs would be ideal.  Dixie just wants to be your one and only canine companion. Some time long ago, someone removed her tail. She now has a unique little nub tail and it is the cutest when she wiggles it when she sees you.

Dixie likes short strolls around the neighborhood and is ready to become your neighborhood watch block leader with her cute little bark. Because she is so attached to her person, she would prefer a home where her person is with her more often than not and one where she is not left alone for long periods of time.

Dixie wants to give and receive love so desperately.  She’s hoping you take a chance on her!

Dixie is posted for Pacific Pug Rescue located in Portland, OR.  If you are interested in learning more, you can email adoptions@pacificpugrescue.org
