Are you looking for a loving and fun buddy? DJ may just be your boy! We are told this gorgeous guy is a 12 year old Pomeranian.  He is a little underweight right now, weighing about 10 pounds.

DJ has lived with dogs, cats and rabbits. He has enjoyed doggy day camp when he’s been able to attend. DJ would prefer a home with older children that are kind and gentle to him.

While he can be barky at first when meeting strangers and when he sees them on walks, he’s a friendly guy once you’ve introduced yourself to him. He loves to play! DJ thrives on attention and love.

DJ does bark at home too so a home where his people don’t share walls with others would be best. DJ doesn’t need to get into trouble for barking. That is what dogs do, afterall, some more than others!

At this time DJ is in his kennel during the workday. He’d love a home where his person is not gone for long hours so that he can spend his time with them and not have to be kenneled for long. We are told he needs a potty break about every 3 hours during the day. As we suggest with every adoption, a full senior exam with one’s vet upon adoption is best. This will give an adopter the information needed about their new dog to keep them as healthy as possible for as long as possible. Senior dog care is so important-good quality dog food, grooming and regular veterinary care should be afforded by an adopter.

DJ can manage stairs currently. He does well on leash. DJ enjoys park time. His people tell us he gets tired after about an hour of play. When he was a puppy DJ went through basic puppy training. He sure sounds like a very nice dog!

DJ is in need of an adoptive home soon. Someone is going to be very lucky to welcome him into their family. He is ready to be your best friend for life!

DJ is located in Everett, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is a courtesy post. DJ is not an Old Dog Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
