Esther was a shy, lovely Chihuahua with delicate features. She had spent far too much time in a shelter before coming to her Final Refuge home with Old Dog Haven. Esther was an “easy”, quiet girl who had a heated bed she loved to spend her days in. She also loved to sit on her foster mom’s lap while she worked on her computer. Her favorite time of all was evening when her foster mom would sit her on the couch with her and other dogs to watch T.V. Esther would dance around in anticipation of this time of the day. She had a way of looking at her foster mom that made foster mom’s heart swell with love. A little over a year after coming to her Final Refuge home, Esther’s heart failed her. Her foster mom did not want her to suffer so she sent her on with a very heavy heart. Esther was a special little dog and her foster mom feels very lucky have been “her person” for the time she was.
