10-year-old Farrah is a fun-loving, 56-pound shepherd-retriever mix girl who adds joy to every day. She is pretty sure that everyone wants to be her friend, and she makes sure that new people and dogs are met with a wag of her tail.

Farrah would love to belong to a family that will include her in their adventures. She would be a great walking and camping buddy, and she would be a great companion on gentle hikes. Farrah is also very content lounging beside you on the couch or hanging out in the sunshine. She enjoys the outdoors, and because of that, she will need a securely fenced backyard. Farrah is ready to be a cherished family member. She is patient, quiet, and has great house manners.

Farrah is living peacefully with other dogs and would enjoy a canine buddy or two. Farrah has met the resident cat in her foster home, and she was curious but showed no interest in chasing; however, any cats in the home should have a safe place to observe Farrah while she settles into her new environment. Farrah would be fine with children who have an understanding of respectful behavior towards animals.

Farrah is posted for Save-A-Mutt. She is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA.
