Fiona

8-year-old Fiona is a sensitive girl who is longing for a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. She is a 7-pound Chihuahua mix.

Fiona has been through a lot of changes and she is ready to settle down. She will be happiest with a family that has a calm, predictable routine. Fiona takes little while to warm up so a patient person will be very important. It will be worth the wait because as soon as she realizes that she is safe she will be your best friend.

Fiona’s foster family has taught her proper house manners, and her adopter will need to continue with her routine to keep her successful. Fiona would love to be someone’s one and only but she would also be fine with another dog her size. She can be a bit of a boss, so any other dog should be confident and willing to let Fiona be in charge sometimes. Fiona does not enjoy cats; therefore, her rescuers are asking for a feline-free home.

Fiona doesn’t mind the sound of her voice, which makes her unsuitable for apartment life. Fiona will be happiest in an adult-only home, so her rescuers are respecting that wish.
