This lovely girl’s name is Flossie. Flossie is wonderful dog who is looking for her loyal home. She is a Northwest Farm Terrier. Flossie is estimated to be about 10 years old and she weighs 40 pounds, a nice sized dog. Her breed is known for being highly intelligent; Flossie combines all the brains with the cute factor. She is a “people dog” but sadly, prior to coming to rescue, Flossie spent much of her life alone outside on a farm setting. She is thrilled to be a part of the household action now in her foster home. Flossie now awaits her loving adopter to come share her joy of life and love her. True to her breed traits she has a lot of personality and is a real talker. She is animated and one of her frequent requests is for ice cubes. We believe and hope that Flossie has many years of love and active fun left to share with a lucky person. She needs room to exercise and run as she is athletic and agile and loves to learn! Flossie is not a dog who would do well in an apartment; a home with a fenced yard is mandatory. Flossie likes to play ball and of loves squeaky toys. She likes to go for walks but she is a strong dog and a person who can handle her strength and is willing to work on her leash manners. She would be a great dog in a home with older children and would make a good companion for them. Flossie was raised with other dogs and would be best with companion dogs her size as she likes to play.

Flossie is posted for Rescue Every Dog (R.E.D.) Rescue and is in a R.E.D. foster home in Kingston, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
