12 year old Foxy is a 50 pound mixed breed girl looking for the rest-of-her-life-home. She has lived with other dogs but needs a home with dogs who are laid back. Foxy doesn’t want to share her toys or food with other dogs! She is great with cats and kids that are old enough to know not to climb upon or pull on her.

Foxy sounds like a really terrific dog! She can stay home alone and at this point, still manage quite a while without a potty break. She is not a barky girl, she only does so to let you know when someone’s at the door.  This smart girl knows many verbal commands. Foxy is said to be GREAT on leash and she appreciates a walk a day. She loves to play fetch with a ball, stick or frisbee. When she’s not playing she is always ready to cuddle with her person. Foxy loves car rides.

At 12 years old, one would expect a dog to have some arthritis. Her owner reports that Foxy seems to have arthritis but also reports that she can still do stairs. Foxy is ready for her senior check up at a vet. Her adopter should be willing and able to provide her with the lifelong care she needs.

Foxy needs a new home very soon as she’s not doing well with a crawling baby in her home. Foxy is posted for her owner in Port Hadlock, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
