George is a very sweet old boy who was brought to the shelter as a stray.  No one has come looking for him, so George is hoping to leave the shelter soon and go to a forever adoptive home.

George is very sweet and social with all people and doesn’t seem to mind other dogs at all. The shelter vet estimated that George is about 8 years old.  George is taking some medications currently as he arrived at the shelter with some sores on his legs that are being treated and are slowly healing. George is also taking joint and anti-inflammatory medications to help him move around a bit easier. He is overweight and so he requires a diet and mild exercise. George’s adopter should be able to continue in helping him to his path to a slimmer, healthier state. One would assume he’s not a dog who is going to do well if he has to climb many stairs.

George is posted for the Blue Mountain Humane Society in Walla Walla, WA. For more information about George and how to adopt him email: adoptions@bluemountainhumane.org or phone: (509) 525-2452.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge potential adopters to do their own evaluation.
