Adopt Harley! Harley is a handsome, big boned Jack Russell mix about 9-10 years old and 28 pounds. Harley has gone through some rough patches in his life, but was rescued by Animal Control and is ready for a new lease on life. In Harley’s previous living situation he didn’t get to experience many new things, so he can be a bit nervous and cautious in new situations and with new people. Some coaxing and affection will transform into your new best friend, and he has already made great progress with learning to walk on leash and learning to make new friends!

This silly boy is definitely motivated by treats- especially if those treats are people food. Like many Jack Russells, Harley is very athletic and smart and loves to run and play and spend time outside. He would love to hang out in the yard with you and sunbathe in good weather. Harley does enjoy fluffy dog beds.

Harley will need a patient, dedicated home that can teach him all the rules and skills of being an inside dog, like house training, furniture manners, and being left alone. Harley has lived with horses before and may make a great barn dog. Harley’s ideal family has a house (no apts) with a fenced yard, no young kids under 12, and no kitties. Harley is available for adoption at Kitsap Humane Society in Silverdale, WA. More info at: www.kitsap-humane.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
